The Butcher Room

In the Butcher Room, we offer a multi-course, chef's-choice dinner served family-style for parties of 6-12 guests. The menu is designed by the chef and our culinary team and reflects the seasonality of Vermont ingredients. Our kitchen can work with dietary restrictions but does need prior notice. The starting price is $120 per person which covers all the food plus a glass of bubbly to start. It does not include other beverages, tax or gratuity. Reservations may be made at a minimum of 48 hours in advance and up to 60 days prior to the desired date and are available for a 6:30 pm start time. We ask for a confirmed final number of guests two days before the reservation so that we may prepare for the menu. This is the number to be charged for the dinner.

At Hen of the Wood, the food is simple, uncomplicated and down-to-earth. We create daily changing menus based on the wealth of premium ingredients found only miles from the restaurant in the lush Green Mountains and Champlain Valley.
